Anyonne have a good scratch repair method??
The other day some idiot left a pretty good scratch on the rear door of my S-Crew. My truck is black so it's pretty visible and it drives me nuts every time I look at it when I'm getting in. Anyone know of a good scratch repair method? The Ford paint kinda sucks and the scratch went through to the primer. I haven't tried polish/compound yet but I'm pretty sure that's not going to cut it. I probably need to get some touch-up paint and fill in the scrape.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Too the primer?
If through to the primer, no amount of compounding and polishing will help.
Get some base coat and clear coat touch up paint.
Clean the area to remove any waxes, then apply the base coat to the area where primer is showing, allow to dry and build up coats of the clear.
Apply a little more so it is above the normal surface of the clear.
Carefully wet sand with a block to even the clear down to the surface.
Then carefully compound to remove the sand marks and then polish with a polish to remove the compound marks.
Clean with rubbing alcohol to assure the the haze created by the compounding is removed, repeat polishing if necessary.
Then apply your wax or sealant.
