Liquid wax...better?

What you guys recommend liquid wax? Is it easier to wipe off than the normal type of waxes?

I use liquid (Meguires cleaner wax) but i've never noticed a difference with the higher end waxes.

R_4x4...

When applying by hand, I prefer paste. I feel it gives me more control.

When using the orbital buffer to apply it, the liquid is much easier to work with. I haven't noticed any difference in durability between the two types.

I also use Meguire's stuff. I use only liquid because I use a buffer. They work much better than the 'ol elbow grease, not to mention less work.

Got to love the advances that have been made, would not go back to past wax. Twenty-five years ago used paste wax but now I like the liquid wax.

I have used Meguiers cleaner wax or fast finish for many years and have been satisifed with the results. Now I am using the Meguiers Gold Class Liquid wax for clear coat. If my truck gets neglected for too long I use the Meguiers liquid cleaner wax and then when I get time later I use the Gold Class liquid.

Meguiars Gold Class

I can not say enough good things about Meguiars Gold Glass wax. I wax by hand and find it very easy to use.

I've looked at Auto Zone and Wal mart and cannot find Meguiars, should they have it?

I buy mine at Advanced Auto Parts, but I know the Wal-Mart around here sells tons of it

According to the folks at Meguiar's there is no difference between the paste and liquid forms of the same waxes (ie: #6 cleaner wax or #26 yellow wax). It's entirely up to what you like best.
