Magic Eraser
Here's something to try! The Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean and regular household cleaner. This thing will take the fleas off a dog. I had stain overspray on some vinyl siding that nothing would take off, until I tried this little gem. It's the composition of the pad that does the work. Try it and see what you think.

I have tried others, WD40, 409, denatured alcohol, etc but the gas on a rag is the ticket. Outdoor use only, PLEASE!
Mucho thanks!!!

Mr Clean sponge I can't remember what they are called- you 3 per pack I believe and they work wonders on your trim. getting wax/ polish off. Woops I see someone else has posted this. I see a suggestion of using gasoline. I shudder whan I read those posts. If you have some vpeanut butter in the house put that on and let it set for 30 min. or so to allow the oil to soak in to the wax and it will come right out.

As a pre-warning... be VERY careful with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser -- several have ruined plastic trim pieces by being 'too' abrasive with this device. While it may work, the side-effects may be more problematic than the appearance of a solution.
On uncoated rubber trim/moldings, it's a fantastic way to remove overwax and such... I used it on my 2001's window trim (rubber) with great results however, some have ruined door handles on the 2004+.
