Need some info.

I was at pep boys yesterday afternoon and saw a fine scratch remover made by 3M. They had a grade 1200 scratch remover and a grade 1500 scratch remover. Which one will remove the bigger scratch?

Also has anyone ever tried 3M's swirl mark remover? How were the results?

I have no idea which is better, but my general rule of thumb is that when dealing with a finished surface, the finer the grit the better. It may take longer, but there's that much less chance of over doing it which will result in permanent damage.
