need help with paint and finish care...

I just traded my 97 Ranger for a 98 F-150, and I LOVE it It does have a couple of places of surface scratches and the paint doesn't glisten like it should. I think the guy that had it before me didn't wash and polish it like it should be, and a black vehicle will start to look like crap if you don't take care of it. Are there any products such as polishes, glazes, rubbing compounds, etc. that you would suggest to get my truck looking like new again....or at least close to new? Thanks in advance.

I've been checking this too.

I've been searching the board on this subject also. It seems that the prevailing opinion is to use Zaino Bros. products. I think that that's the system I'm going to use to make my truck super shiny. The downside to using their products is time. Seems to me it's going to take a good couple of days to apply all the steps they recommend. I guess I'll find out when the weather finally breaks around here.

zaino is great, and if I have time for it you do too. it really isn't all that consuming (the first time was all-day: clayed and did z1 and z5 and z6). it's good stuff!
