Question Cast Aluminum Wheels

The local carwash sprayed some sort of chemical cleaner on my alum. wheels. Looks like milky white streaks on them. Of course they said it was that way before they washed it. They offered to polish them, for a fee, and said it would take some time. Any suggestions as to clean or polish the wheels???

GCOLE-

Assuming that you have polished wheels, I've had good luck with this stuff.

could even be wax residue.

whatever you use, be careful. you wouldn't want to damage the clearcoat.

you might try flitz polish also, it is available at better fishing and gun stores. it won't ruin the paint and is good for polishing even blued guns.
