I screwed up, help!!??
So I am looking at my wife as i back out of the garage and checking my mirrors to miss my other truck and I swing the front left...right into the garage door jam.....i left alot of white house paint in the fender flare, no dents thank goodness.
I was upset and trying to see if it would come off and for some godforsaken reason I thought water and 600 grit paper would not scratch it....well it did. Later I managed to get all the house paint off with rag and some brake parts cleaner. But now it has 600# marks scratched on it.
Is there any way to work these out?....They are a very light, but very hazy.
Thanks alot,

Go get some 2000 grit sandpaper from pepboys or autozone. Make sure it is the silicone backed type that can be used for wetday sanding.
Now throw it in a bucket of water mixed with a little soap and let it sit for about 30mins.
Then, after the paper has soaked, wrap it around a sponge or small piece of cardboard to make sure you aren't leaving any odd finger marks. Then lightly sand over the area. Not a lot. You are just wanting to remover the 600 grit sanpaper marks so just a few passes should do it.
Now, (Do you have a buffer?) You'll need to use a buffer with 3m SMR or Meguiars #9 to polish it back out to a mirror finish. If you don't have a buffer, then you better get to work with meguiars #9 and a foam applicator. You've got a lot of rubbing to do!
Don't worry though. You'll be able to get it fixed.
