Arrow Keeping dust/dirt outta my truck bed!!

I have a fiberglass cover on the back of my truck. If I go up a gravel road, dust and dirt seems to get sucked up in my truck bed. Anyway to keep it out?

stange,

the dust is probably coming in around the tailgate. unless you can seal off the gaps you're going to have the dust. Rich

you will probably have to caulk around the front, as well. i have a neon light mounted under the front edge of my bed, and it lights up the ground under there.

There is also a tailgate seal made by Steelhorse available from JCWhitney (and others). Actually there are two models, one uses double sided tape to stick to the bed and the tailgate and the other uses screws. I like the screw model for the durabilty but you are making new holes, it folds up when you close but lays flat when tailgate is down. It would really help when hualing dirt, gravel, mulch. No more annoying piles of stuff to build up in the crack there. I think it's around $40, I'll try to find a part# and a link if needed.

OK for a 97-00 F150 it's a 78502.
