What kind of electric buffer?

Using foam pads or bonnets?

It's a MVP 7-inch 2-speed Sander/Polisher. I have bonnets.

Thanks

MVP? What company is that?

Does it just rotate or does it make a random orbital patern?

It makes a orbital pattern. My biggest question is do you apply wax by hand, and use buffer to take wax off?

Thanks

An orbital that big you'll have trouble applying wax with, expecially if you are using bonnets.

I apply wax by hand using a small 6inch dual-action buffer with foam pads. I buff the wax off by hand.

You can try to use your buffer to buff wax off but be aware that the bonnets will clog up quickly with wax residue.

Would be best for you just to apply by hand and buff by hand. Will take a little longer but will protect you more from swirls and scratches.
