Talking Anyone know how to patch a bullet hole?

Okay, I might be a putting a little on it . I recently parked my truck at school, which is near a highschool. I think, from the size of the whole, that it was a bee bee or pellet. any suggestions on how to fill the dent? It did not puncture the metal, just chipped of a circular portion of the paint.

Kids!!!

Clean out the circle and use touch-up paint.

Did it dent the paint at all? Probably did.

Need PDR work then.

The darn thing dented my door. I just sanded it down a bit and put a primer and finishing coat on it. There is still a little dimple, though.

I wish we had a Dent Wizard in our area, I have dents from people opening their doors into my truck and they always stick out like a sore thumb to me.

The incident took place at my college parking lot, which is, unfort., near a highschool. Damned overly hyper young adults! ( it was a BB gun!). I counted 16 other cars with the same imprint on the same door.

I can't win, that parking lot has bad vibes.

My wife used to tease me about how far I park away from other cars. Since she got her 2002 F150 she does the same thing.

An update:

That parking lot really has bad vibes, now. About a month ago, after school got out for the day, I was leaving the parking lot. As I approached the narrow two lane driveway to street level I noticed an accident. I proceeded to go around the two cars when all of a sudden the second car (which rear-ended the other) bolted out into my lane taking out my right quarter pannel and bumper. Appearently, the guy who just rear ended the lady was going to hit-n-run...my truck was the hero, stopping the guy dead in his tracks. Since then I've had my truck fixed...looks good as new. But I'm begining to think that there is something wrong with that parkinglot, mabe they paved over an old indian burrial ground or something!

Take care all.

mf150,

Do you think it may be safer next time to park on some railroad tracks?

I'm assuming the pellet gun ding is also fixed? And I'm also assuming the other guy's insurance paid for the repair to what he did plus whatever damage was already done to those panels? Hmm, I'm having trouble seeing a problem here. I think this may be what the acient indians would call a "blessing in diguise".
