Micro tuner question

I wanted to find out if the micro tuner was designed to be used with the overdrive on or off. Would it hurt anything if I did have it while using the overdrive?

I don't think your question is part of the equation at all with the MicroTuner. It's designed to replace your factory computer program, no matter whether you have it in OD or not. I certainly use mine just as I normally used the truck before the M.T. I NEVER take it out of OD.

Hi Uh,

The Micro Tuner changes nothing with regard to the function of the transmission selector switch (the Overdrive button) on the end of your shift lever. As jaymz correctly mentioned in his post, with the Micro Tuner installed you just operate the vehicle as you normally would, so it doesn't matter if you use Overdrive or not, that is strictly up to you. Most people just leave the O/D on unless they're towing, for example.

If you'd like to go over any of this (or anything else performance-related about your vehicle) in more detail, feel free to give us a call at our number listed below.

Thanks Jaymz & Mike,

I was just wondering as I am going to purchase one today and that was the only unanswered question I had.
