To give you some brief immediate info............
The Superchip is the only performance chip that tunes each vehicle individually according to it's own unique PCM revision, that tunes on part-throttle as well as full-throttle so you get better performance at *any* throttle position and not just at full-throttle, and that is also still 50-state emissions certified. Other chips have 1 or maybe 2 of those 3 aspects, but only the Superchip has it all. Superchips also has more sheer R&D into the F-150 platform (with any engine) than any other "name" chipmaker as well, and will yield the best optimization of your truck's powertrain program.
The 4.2 V6 has a nice power output stock in terms of HP, but it's inherently weak below 2500 rpm, and that is just one of many deficits that Superchips fixes in the factory programming/tuning - the difference in driveability in getting that fixed alone is worth the chip!
