Superchip Reinstalled...works GREAT!!
I just wanted to publically thank Mike Troyer for the excellent customer service. I installed a new superchip a week or so ago and had a minor shifting problem...
I called Mike and we discussed the situation...he said to send it back for a minor adjustment. So, I popped it out and UPS'd it back the next day.
I called Mike yesterday to make sure he had received the chip, and I was told that it had been received, re-programmed and shipped back to me...wow!!
When I got home from work last night, it was on my front porch. Of course, I had to put it in and give it a try.
Perfect success...shifting is now flawless, quick, and solid. This morning I took back roads to work to really try it out. I was really impressed how well it all worked right out of the package...topped it off with some 93 octane, and my V6 is ready.
Thanks again, Mike, for the excellent and super quick service...

Hi David,
Glad to hear the adjustment did the trick - and it's extremely generous of you to say so here David, you're a true gentleman.
To perfect that 3-4/4-3 scenario in your truck with the way I like to raise the light-throttle upshift & downshift points on the 3-4/4-3 schedule for best driveability, we just increased the effective "resolution" in the factory 4-3 downshift table, and that took care of it. It really should have worked like that with the first calibration I did, but sometimes mechanical beings (like we humans) just aren't always 100% consistent.
Glad you're enjoying it - that truck really should run a good deal better than stock now, with particular emphasis on the below 2500 rpm areas especially. It would be very interesting to see before & after 0-30, 0-60 & 1/4 mile times, as with the issues in the factory XAZ4 program, our tuning should yield better than our normal results that we get in a "good" factory code.
Have fun!
