Question underdrive pulleys?

I am thinking about installing some underdrive pulleys on my truck, already habe the microtuner, do I need a new program for my truck?
Also, do you need a CARb sticker in California for the pulleys?
Thanks alot.

The underdrive pulleys just reduce the parasitic drag on the crankshaft from the accessories. You won't need a new program for them.

Sorry, can't answer the question on the carb sticker though. Don't have to deal with that hear.

Hi 02,

Underdrive pulleys are not an "emissions" part - so that is a non-issue.

And as David (Intel 486) already mentioned, no - you do not need any kind of program changes for the underdrive pulleys, so you're fine there, too.

Intel, Mike,
Thanks alot for your response. I should finish up with the pulleys on Sunday.
Does anyone know about the CARB sticker for them? I don't think I need one but the smog places in SoCal are crazy sometimes......................
