Question Fixed it! Mike, another question please?

Hi Mike, how are you!

After rereading the posts about Superchips, and trying to post this messege 3 times(the network here is screwed up somehow). I'm under the impression that the techs at Superchips can tell by the vehicles computer code whether the jumpers need to be soldered. If this is true, I'd like to find out if my computer need this done. I'm seriously considering installing a chip after the paramedics are done performing CPR on my wallet(it's critical but it should pull through). I can get this done in the meantime.

My computers code is ZJP2.

Thanks again for all the informative posts about Superchips, I love this site!

To you and everyone on this site, have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year!

Hobbit,

I have the same truck & computer code. I had the no start problem when installing the superchip & had to have the jumpers added. Sent to superchips on Monday evening and was driving the truck on Wednesday. Like the Superchip.

Dear Hobbit,

Yes, some of the ZJP2 code computers *were* affected by the jumper misconfiguration. What that means is that you *could* be affected by it, not that you automatically will. We keep a list of all codes that have *ever* been affected, even though you cannot truly predict it by computer code, and ZJP2 is on the list, so I would say to expect it. It's easy to fix, just let me know, ok?
