Post Its here!!!!

The chip is here and it is in the truck. All I had to do was pop that sucker in and start it up. Thanks Mike T for all your help in getting it here! This Guy called Superchips for me and made them ship it to me so I got here brfore Xmass. Way to go Mike!

Regards

Jean Marc Chartier

PS it works too, I had to try it just to be sure.

Dear JMC,

I say it's about time it got there! Superchips has been so swamped with custom programs of late, that the last 7-10 days it's been taking them more like 10-14 days to get the work done, as opposed to the more customary 3-7 days.

You've been waiting on this code (PCM2) for so long that I just wasn't going to be satisfied unless you got it by Christmas, at least!

I know what you'll be doing........

Merry Christmas JMC!

Mike T,

Just one quick question. Now that the truck revs to 6500 what damage will it do to the tach as the needle slams against the stopper peg at the 6000 mark? Love that chip...

Lets see whoever has the least points means we'll race on the "their" side. I have 6.
I hear you Canucks are afraid of Detroit anyway so if you can find a spot where we won't be drawing any attention to ourselves, that would be cool. If I had a stick, you would be TOAST!!! I'd rather lose to a Ford though, cuz that way at least FORD still wins!
Snow or not?...well Gee Mr. 4WD, it doesn't matter to me as long as your running 2WD at the time!!

Gonna get my Bed rails back on, Finally!
Couldn't find the right Polished steel design, so once I modify the powercoated ones I just bought, I will paint them.
Q: who wants my chrome ones? Price:cost of shipping, or gas and maybe lunch if you live in S/E MI.

Dear JMC,

Well, my guess is with your custom chip and it's 6500 rev limiter, you'll most likely experience bent or broken tach needles as it slams up against the stop, and Lord knows what you'll end up doing to the frame of *this* one, eh?

I'm just happy you finally got the thing! But then, you had to wait on the Superchip for your 1997 F-150, as I remember it, as you had to wait until we got your code on that vehicle too!

Never fear, Superchips are here.

Mike T,

I guess I will have to open up the cluster and pull the stopper peg. Wonder if Ford will notice it is missing? Heck if thay can't spot a bent frame what's a peg, eh? Yea, the 97 was a longer wait. I had enough time to make the mistake of getting a JET chip. It makes a fine paper weight though. Hopefully the frame on this one won't bend. Maybe I should have ordered the 7700# option (old 250 LD). I will let you know in April if it bends...
