I have been thinking about upgrading my ignition system. Thing is, will the chip need to be modified again if I decide to upgrade? I guess your answer will determine if I will go any further with this idea.

Hey Way2Big, I have a 1999 5.4 with a setup very similar to yours (isn't horsepower great)...But I haven't been able to find any ignition upgrades for it other than plugs...I've called Accel and Jacobs and neither have products for the 5.4 yet...

If you find anything PLEASE post about it or drop me an e-mail..

Also, about a month ago I posted about looking for high performance heads for my truck, and I believe you asked me to keep you posted if I find anything...Well, no one makes any...But I contacted Houstonperformance nad they can get me about 50 more HP with a port/polish and valve job and a custom cam job...hey seemed to be the only company I found that was confident in the results they could get for me...So that may be coming up in the next 6 months or so.

No problem, your ignition mods won't affect your Superchip program.

If that list of mods gets much longer, you're going to have to write a book!
