6600 installation?

ok, i have decided i want the SCT6600 chip. i like the fact it is custom tuned and is adjustable at the flip of a switch.

my only concern is how hard is the chip to install. can i do it if i havent ever done it before or do i need to take it to a shop? i did a search and no one really answered these.

also if i want to install an intake do i need to do so before the chip or can i do it after?

step by step instructions, you can't screw it up-its like installing a 3.5" floppy disk in you computor, well maybe a little more than that, if your really worried get the tuner. you can read and clear trouble codes with it and basically costs the same---but you can't shift on the fly.

change anything that may alter the A/F ratio's you will need to update/reburn the chip.

the 9100 is custom tuned. love mine! download new tunes via e-mail, no sending it back, just call and get the new tune sent. upload it and flash the truck-done, simple and easy, plug it in and enjoy. install from the passenger seat.

hope this helps,
Randy

Hi Bull,

Sure, we can take care of speedo calibrations for gear ratio and/or tire size changes in the chips, too - the only caveat in the F-150 & Expedition is that it needs to be a 1999 or newer model year vehicle, whether a chip or a flash device is used doesn't matter, we can do that in both.

Just give us a shout at your convenience & we'll be happy to take care of this for you.
