Cool

LOL,,,Mine goes on in March and off in Dec........ I had a job delivering TV's for Home Entertainment(I think they've been
bought out now) and I used to joke about my best friends/Max,High & Cool.

Oh yeah, the guy with "80" 150 doesn't wear anything but pocket T's,blue jeans, and ropers...even in July and August!! How he keeps from having a case of heat stroke is beyond me,lol

Don't get me wrong,I love the heat. I go to
Playa del Carmen at least once a year.
It's just that it's so great to have your face
blasted with ice cold air while your driving around in 100 deg. heat,,,,,98

Hi Screamer,

For the aftermarket ignition, I would suggest just using the Accel 300 series system, and not mix the Jacob's with it, but that is up to you. Accel has that 300 series setup that is very cost effective, from what I understand. Either way will work just fine I'm sure, you might save some money going all Accel.

Looks like we're getting some good feedback on other header brands as well in this thread, excellent! I still prefer the JBA's, but I'd be very interested to know if the Gibson's and the JBA's are in fact the same header, and if so, then the trick would be to simply order the Gibson's from Roger in the Online Store here. It wouldn't be a bad idea to call Roger and get his take on all this, since he sells different header brands, and we do not, so he'll have more info on that than we would.

Looks like Dwight is right there in your area, that would be nice if you 2 could hook up!

Best of luck!

Cool

I-10 has been somewhat enlarged, they started back in the early nineties. Of course now that it's almost done, everyone is moving back inside the
Loop,,,can't win. I just took some updated
pics of my truck and can't wait to replace the old ones. But no pics of the engine yet,I didn't clean it with the last wash. Hopefully I can do it while there is still some film in the camera(no digital yet, maybe Xmas?) Either way I'll get them
up soon,it looks drastically different now,,,,98

HI 25_Ag,

OK, so now the remote start is working, and it had nothing to do with the Superchip after all.

It's funny the things that people will attribute to the Superchip, especially if it's the last thing they installed just before they have some sort of issue elsewhere. A natural assumption, I suppose.

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the Superchip, and that your remote start system is squared away so you can fully enjoy the toys you've spent your hard-earned money on!

All you guys there in the Houston area remind me of my days in Texas, fighting Katy Freeway (I-10) traffic. I haven't been back since the early 80's, and it was murder then, I can't imagine how it must be now.

Have fun,

Hi Screamer,

As for the colored lines, as long as they seal properly, and that's a pretty simple thing, and have the color you want, go for it, I don't see any problem there.

Post a pic when you have it all done!

Hi mjd54,

Welcome to F-150 Online!

Thanks for your post and the feedback on the Pacesetter headers.

Pacesetter was thw first company I know of that provided a true dual exhaust system for the V-6 Mustangs of the mid-90's a few years ago. I haven't seen their headers, and have no idea as to their quality, their effect on power curve, etc.
