Hi haze,
There really is no such thing as a "gas mileage chip" per se.
The Superchip has the *potential* for improving mileage a bit, but even then it's merely a by-product of the increased spark advance used on part-throtle in re-tuning the engine for the use of premium gas, which is what a performance chip does.
There is no way to just re-program the vehicle for an increase in gas mileage, without requiring the use of premium gas. if that could be done, the automakers themselves would have done it long ago, in their efforts to meet the CAFE (corporate average fuel economy) mandates that the government requires from the automakers each model year, they have to meet a fleet average mpg, you see, which is very tough for them.
If you're looking for performance, then the Superchip is a great mod, but if your only concern is gas mileage, look elsewhere, would be my advice.
