Post How much to reprogram

I keep seeing all these superchips for around $100 but of course they don't have my same computer code. How much is it to reprogram a superchip and is it worth it? Would it be better to buy new?

Hi jwrape,

The only time a used Superchip is a bargain is *if* it matches the computer code of your vehicle exactly, in which case they can be a *great* bargain, as they rarely fail. Otherwise, you have to pay to have it reprogrammed to the correct code, and at that point, you'd actually save money buying the Superchip brand new, and you would also have a warranty as well.

Used Superchips can be a great bargain *IF* the code exactly matches yours; otherwise, you're better off buying it new.

If you'd like to shoot us an email with the exact information about your vehicle (year, make, model, engine size, auto or manual tranny and it's computer code), we can let you know what will cost to have it reprogrammed to your vehicle.
