Thumbs up superchips 1714 tuner.....oooooh my!!!!

Finally...... it was like giving my truck viagra. Now this is how the truck should of came.
Too bad its raining here.......
I want to see how good this truck responds.
I used the 87 octane setting....
so far the shifting is a lot better, the throttle response is dead on,
can't wait to burn up the rest of this tank so i can load the performance program....will leave feedback when done....
I have to go driving now ================

thanks troyer

Glad to hear you're enjoying it - the improvement in throttle response alone is well worth it, IMHO.

Thanks for your post & have fun!

Try the performance 91+Octane setting then you will feel really what the tuner is about.

On the 1714, does the program have to be returned to stock if you want to edit the performance program settings or the current program installed?

I was just reading that . When you want to change a program it will ask you which one. Make your choice and any option that you might have.
No reason to go back to stock. Stock is dead to me.....

Well, i installed the high performance tune and holy crap......very sweet. This is a totaly different truck.
I think the windows are even going up and down quicker.....

Absolutely no complaints........well maybe one. I am running out of friends to drive around and show how nice the truck is. I may start picking up strangers......just to show it off.

That's hilarious - thanks for the laugh, it came at a time when I really needed it!

I know the part about running out of friends to show off to - for me, it's usually my poor wife I inflict that on. I try to get her to go with me on every cruise, every test-drive after a new mod done to the Lightning or her truck, etc. She's a very good sport about it, but sometimes even she will pass on it & tell me to just go out alone, or go grab a friend, etc...............

Thanks for your humorous post, & have fun!
