There is no rule, that I am aware of, that precludes any member from talking or quoting prices on line. The exception may be the vendor’s can’t quote prices of their products but nothing that I know of stops me or any other member who is NOT a vendor from quoting prices.

That is what this board is about “information” which means PRICE’S…

Now, I will agree had he read more carefully at Mike’s website he would have seen there is a discount for registered F-150 members, but there is NOTHING wrong with the man asking a question in PUBLIC if other options are available such as a 1 tune option.

I could understand if Mike came back and told him yes but that he would have to call on price so everyone should kind of back down and not get so upset with someone asking a question.

I will say, as I have many other times that if you truly want someone to tune your vehicle then Mike is the guy to go to and not because of outstanding customer service but the experience itself.

If I had to pick only one thing I would always go with the experience even if customer service sucked, but in Mikes case you will get your cake and be able to eat it too…

I have been researching the past year about options for my truck, from just diagnostics to diagnostics and possible tune/s. I then start reading about the Xcal2 and the options it has and I can tell you this I am very close to making a decision and if I decide to purchase one, an Xcal2, it will be from Mike regardless of price just because of ALL the information I have gathered.

I tend to be **** that way and sometimes over analyze things but in the end I feel comfortable with my decision and having never talked to Mike I would feel absolutely comfortable purchasing from Mike and having him tune my Lightning…

I just ordered my xcalII today from troyer and let me say I was impressed with the detail of the worksheets I had to fill out for my truck!! the detail of the questions and information requested about the vehicle was just awsome!! I did some price searching as well on the excal and found it cheaper with other places but like was already posted you get what you pay for. being a member here helps too. Customer service and expertise is more important in my book than price. I cant what to get my excal, its going to be a long couple weeks......

eoriely,

when I called Troyer, they quoted me a cheaper price for a single tune option.
So the answer to one of your questions is yes, they do offer it. ( I called the day after it first came out).

On another note, I always wondered why 1/2 hour in the emergency room cost me over $800
