minority/majority doesn't make someone the "very best"...I'm not going to get in a pissin match with you on who Chad should reburn his chip...he should research the tuners and decide on who can tune his truck best for his needs...there are other tuners that do great jobs and they are also vendors on this site

I assure you I'm not engaging in a "Pissin" contest with you, since I could care less what you like/dislike. I simply stated an obvious fact...not an endorsement of any particular vendor.

I am unbiased..I did post a link..and it was to one of the top Lightning guys..not the only one...just one I had quick...the are many top L vendors...this site does point to one tuner(doesn't mean he is the best)...there are ppl who have problems with his tunes..thats why ppl should research before they buy someones tune..you cant always trust what ppl post and who they say is the best

What was the outcome? Was it fixed? Did Troyer give them the finger and say KMA or did he follow up with customer service and resolve the problem in a timely manner?
"I am unbiased" Why only one link then

While Mike is an excellent choice you do want to research what’s out there particularly other supporting vendors here at F150.
Now, I know Mike does awesome work and has outstanding customer service but since you have a Lightning they are different then your normal F150 N/A motors. That is not to say Mike don’t have experience with them and can not meet your needs.
With that said, there are supporting vendors who have a tremendous amount of experience with Lightning’s and the special needs they have due to being supercharged. In other words many of them specialize in Lightning’s and not your regular F150 N/A motors.
A supercharged motor is more susceptible to major damage and one major reasons is because Lightning’s have NO knock sensors. When you have pre-ignition or knock on most motors a knock sensor will retard the timing to prevent, or hopefully prevent damage and/or destruction to the motor.
The Lightning DOES NOT HAVE that protection and thus tuning is crucial. Your best bet is to do some research and then call a few of the supporting vendors, Mike included, and have a conversation with them. Go with who you feel the most comfortable with.
Remember, if you’re under warranty, and regardless what anyone may tell you if you tune your Lightning and blow the motor chances are VERY GOOD it will NOT be covered under warranty since you modified the original design. With a Lightning a dealer and Ford will pay much CLOSER attention to what “may have” caused it to blow. If they find out it was tuned or had a chip you will be out of luck as there is NO law to protect you, and in all fairness, there shouldn’t be such a law.
Some here will argue there is such a law but when you “actually” read it you will find that if you modify it the law is void. The choice is yours but if a supercharged motor goes to lean, or to much spark advance KABOOM, and you will most likely be footing the bill.
Research and choose carefully (Mike would be one of those top on my list, but it would include a few other vendors from F150 as well)…
