I am all in!

I have completed my paperwork and got it to Anita(what a champ she is!)! I really feel pretty stupid about the way I am feeling right now! I am 42 years old and I am just about as giddy as a teenager getting their first car! My tunes are 87,91,93 performance, as I almost never tow and if I do I will use the stock config. If I find I need for a tow tune I will buy it and replace one of the others. I am pretty pumped!
Peace brothers and sisters!

Yeah can't wait. Got the confirmation email on Monday this week, now the wait. I think I'm going to get a dual exhaust put on while I wait. This modding is addicting hehe. Not sure what I'll do next.

Just for grins

Can anyone let me know, once the 91 octane performance tune is in place with no further mods, will it break the tires loose faily easily?
The reason I ask is for safety purposes only, not that I would EVER break them loose............Safety is it.......yes.........thats the reason!

I am still looking for some feedback on the 91 octane tune in a 05 5.4 with no mods other than the tune. Will it break the rear wheels loose? LOL! I thought I would get more of a response
I love all of the help and support we get on these forums, I really wish I had this tool when I owned my 98 lariat. You guys are great!

Ordered mine about the same time as cajun, but I knew there was a back log at Troyer - maybe by Sept 1 or so.
In the mean time I am using an Edge generic programmer and it ain't that bad.

Hi Okie05,

Congratulations, good for you!!!!

And listen, don't feel immature or anything - I'm older than you, and EVERY time I get a new go-fast part for one of our vehicles, I can't sleep or eat right until it's installed and tested - so I think that affects all of us - and especially those of us who hang out here & make some many comparisons, talk to each other so much about our mods and our perceptions of the results, etc.

Personally, I think that is all a very good thing!

And hang in there everyone - we had another Dyno Day yesterday, and we're getting tunes knocked out pretty quickly again, so your waits won't be long!!!

Mike I was thinking of adding an AF1 or Airaid intake. I didn't have that info on my sheets cause at the time I wasn't going to adding any more mods for a bit, but like I said it's addicting. Now everytime I get a few extra bucks, i'm thinking what mod can I get now hehe. But would me adding a new intake after I receive the xcal2 from you hurt anything, would I need to get it reprogrammed or anything?

Man I can't wait for the tuner too, really need to fix that crappy acceleration.

Hi Ski,

Actually, you will not need to have any changes ,made if you use either the Air Force One or the Airaid intake kits on the 5.4 3V's with our tuning.

We do make a very slight adjustment for both of those intakes, but only for the 2004 trucks, to set them up like the 2005 trucks are from the factory, which allow a little bit more adaptive range.

The bottom line is, you shouldn't have any issue installing either one of those intakes after installing our custom tuning..

That's Great, thanks for quick reply. Now time to do some reading on the AF1 and Airaid.

I think that we ordered at about the same time, so that means that I should be getting an email very soon as well. I am so fired up and can't wait to get this thing in.
