I had to send my XCAL 2 back today because of some issues and was told I would get it back with the MACO 3.0. What I believe they are waiting on is the utility from STC to e-mail the updates.

Does this mean all of the new xcal2s are being shipped with mako 3.0? I have one on order, should I wait longer?

Mako is nothing new by now - and with the exception of a 1-week time period the second week of September, everyone who has gotten the XCalibrator 2 from us starting August 15th has the on-board adjustability enabled, just as everyone who has one on order will automatically have it.

Is the email utility to update the XCal2 to Mako almost ready yet? Haven’t seen anything said about it here or the SCT forum

Hi JP.

It's here: http://www.sctflash.com/downloads.php

Called: SCT Live Load 3

Application: 9400 Custom Tuner or 9415 SF Strategy Flash Device
This program is designed for the end user to update their 9400 Xcalibrator Custom Tuned device with end user adjustability. You must receive the *.LLF file from your custom tuning dealer to program onto your Xcalibrator 2 flash tool. This program can also be used to convert a 9415 Strategy Flasher and turn it into a 9400 Custom tuner. Note: This is a ONE-WAY operation, and you cannot go back to the Pre-Loaded SF Flash Device.

Click Here for More Info on SCT's Live Load Software Click Here To Download
Version: 1.1.1.0

SF Strategy & XCalibrator 2 Flash Device Live Load Software - Full Install
