Lean condition/AF ratio ??
I wanted to wait until MT came back so I could ask this so here it goes.
On the newer F150's MT stated that the MAF's were not consistent and some trucks with the same computer code etc were running lean, rich, and/or spot on. My question is, are they only running questionable AF ratios at WOT? I was under the impression that the computer used inputs from the MAF, O2 sensors, temp sensors etc to feed the desired amount of fuel into an engine during closed loop operation. And that only at WOT or when the engine is cold that it ran in open loop using mainly MAF inputs to meter the fuel? So are these squirrely MAF's affecting WOT operation only or is it affecting both open and closed loop AF ratios?
