Mike Troyer SuperChip Distributor is the best!
I had a 3 year old Superchip that was giving me trouble, so I contacted Mike and Anita who are Superchip distributors. I believe that my chip was "fried" last year when my truck was hit by lightning while storm chasing. Not only is this a "questionable" warranty reason but I cracked part of the module while taking the chip out. So I sent it to Anita and told her the story. A few days later the UPS man is knocking on my door with a new chip!! If you are thinking about a chip, Superchips are the way to go. If you buy a chip, Mike Troyer is the only person to buy from!!!

Yep, customer service is a factor that many do not consider when purchasing!
Your post says it all.

I just got off the phone with Mike...............
My tuner is on the way along with a set of injectors and a 90mm MAF.
Seems as though I'm going to make more ponies than stock pieces and parts will allow.
Looks like I have a full day of underhood time on Sat what with new sparkyplugs, fuel filter, injectors, MAF, IAT, and bathing the K&N.
Then load the tunes and ...........................well you know.
Thanks for all the info Mike.

Hi everyone,
Thanks very much for your kind kudos - and of course, the "prestigious ONELOWF three nanners award," & the Inaugural Genuine Grog "4-'Nanner + Bow" Award. You guys crack me up!
For okstormchaser - I'm glad to hear you're happy - and I got a kick out of your signature line where it says something about "enough electronics to make Luke Skywalker happy" - that gave me a good laugh, it sounds like an interesting truck!
For orvs4me - I really want to thank you for going ahead with those additional upgrades - your F-250 SuperDuty 5.4 already has some nice mods on it, and those, along with our tuning, is sending that 5.4 into power levels that the stock 19# injectors just can't support. Sometimes I cringe when I have to make those phone calls, as I don't want the customer to think I'm trying to play salesman - there are times when it's going to be close, and we'll just put a note in with our docs that arrive with the tuner. But then there are those where it's obvious that the engine just isn't' going to get the fuel it needs under heavy load due to all the different mods combined with our tuning, and yours was in that category - so I hope you enjoy the results. those V8 SuperDuty's almost never are allowed to go into open loop from the factory, and in the case of a code like the BVR2, used in some of the 2002 SuperDuty 5.4 F-250's, it takes hours of work to completely re-write a lot of their tables so that it will run correctly and make the power it should. Anyway, congrats on your new round of mods, & we hope you enjoy the results!
