XCAL2??? w/ stock exhaust & K&N filter

Hi all,

I just made up my mind to remove my Magnaflow cat back kit (#16612)(going in classifieds and/or ebay), for personal daily driving reasons, but I want the performance of it or more. So I am thinking about buying a Troyer programmed XCAL2??? Anita from Troyer has emailed me about this, I would just like some feedback from guys who have one. So with the XCAL2 the only other mods I have would be a slip in K&N air filter, and the Autospring 2" leveling kit.

Any help, or insight on what I could expect from this would be awesome,

Thanks,

J

kdxdrew,

email me at jholtz7@yahoo.com, we can talk about the Magnaflow via email.

Or I will be putting it in the classifieds or ebay soon. But shoot me a email, I'll let you know details and answer any questions you have.

Anybody with XCAL2 info????

Nothing wrong with the Magnaflow. I love the punch it has put in my 5.4, I'm just a daily driver, so I'm leaning back toward the stock exhaust with an XCAL2 programmer for the performance. The Magnaflow has a great tone to it while on the gas, but like all performance exhaust there is a tone at cruising speeds. But at wide open throttle, this thing is mean sounding. Muscle car like. Great tone. I just want the performance w/o the soudn that's all. Maybe I'm just getting old.

My stang has 2 chamber flowmasters...sounds great but man I couldnt handle it as my daily driver anymore.... I LOVE how quiet my truck is.

I'm waiting on my XCAL to arrive so I cant give you feedback for a few weeks. My truck is 100% stock so it would be a close comparison.
