Upgrade from EDGE to X2 make sense?

I am very happy with my EDGE unit but I do want to ad a supercharger to my truck in the future. I have read that the XCalibrator 2 from Troyer Performance can bee tuned for a truck with a supercharger and the EDGE cant.

Would I even need a tuner with a supercharged truck. My truck is a 05 Lariat screw with the 5.4 24valve engine.

btw. if I order the X2 now will I notice an improvement over the Edges tune?

Thanks

Chris

If you install forced induction of any kind you Definitely need a tuner. It would come with one if you buy a complete kit, but it would be lame and leave a lot of power on the table. Custom tuning would be the only way to go. Call MT. I'm sure he wold be happy to discuss this with you.
