superchips 1715 question
I just purchased a superchips 1715 tuner for my 2000 F-150. The intallation manual left me a little confused about one issue. If I return my pickup to the stock tune, can the programmer be used on another 2000 f-150. I understand i can't use it on another while a performance tune is in my vehicle. I am curious because I will only have this truck a couple more years. If I like the product I plan on selling it to finance a tuner for my new truck.

Yes. Just make sure you return to stock before you part with it.

Hi wyosf,
Exactly as Vic said in his post - any of the Superchips "MAX" series of Micro Tuners, like the 1715 for the 1996-2003's, or the 1714 for the 2004's, etc., can be used on another vehicle once you have returned the fist vehicle back o it's stock tuning - and you can do that an unlimited number of times, no problem. So a lot of people do exactly what you are talking about, selling their 1715 to help finance a newer model for a newer vehicle or for our custom tuning to help defray that cost - so yes, you can do exactly what you are talking about, no problem!
