A/F and my 1715

Hi Fanuc,
No, I'm afraid that you cannot adjust the A/F ratios using a 1715 - For A/F ratio changes, that is *custom* tuning - so you need to have proper true custom tuning done, and that would not be provided in something like the 1715, or a 1714, etc. For example, when we provide custom tuning, we use the 9400, which is the XCalibrator 2.
There is nothing you can do to alter the A/F's when using a "standard" Superchips tuner - that requires proper *custom* tuning.
Now in the 1715 (but not in the 1714), on it's maximum performance tune, it does lean out the A/F by just a little bit to raise power further when you are not towing - but where it lands really depends on the exact vehicle's computer code, as the 1715 overs all 1996-2003 F-150's - meaning *thousands* of different computer codes. Typically it ends up around 12.6:1 or so assuming the vehicle is perfectly maintained, a stock air intake kit, fresh O2 sensors & the MAF meter's wires are clean.
But in terms of can you take your vehicle to a dyno and have a "dyno tune" done using your 1715? No, that cannot be done. that requires different hardware, and a proper true *custom* tune to be done, like we do.
I hope that info helps,
