X-cal2 from my 6.0 diesel---to E85?

I saved my xcal2 from my ford knowing I could use it on my 5.4... But since I ordered the E85 option, I was unsure if i can get a program for it? If it can be programmed, will it still adjust everything for use of ethinol or gasoline?

e85 has a different stoich ratio than normal e10 (10% ethanol blend). I would assume it would require different mapping for the air fuel ratio. Since e85 is higher octane (about 104 octane) you can run more spark timing. Troyer has answered this ? before.

Hi ISNMU,

Yes, we can tune those E-85 vehicles, no problem. The stoich point changes significantly at that percentage of alcohol, but hat is easy to compensate for in our tuning.

Just give us a call at our number listed below & we can go over this with you - and congrats on your new truck!

Thanks I will call. I would like to be able to keep the E85 possibility open and also be able to run normal fuel.
