What is 1/4 mile times on stock f-150

Hi

I would like some base information on the ford f-150 extended cab 5.4 3v stock factory.

I would appreciate the best guess estimate or facts on 1/4 times for these trucks.

I have been working on one of these and was dissapointed with the performance . I have done the basic modifications air intake headers exhaust tuner sct or diablo rear gear change to 5.46 24 tires the time slips kept coming up 7.10 to 17.20

I might be wrong and this is good clue me in so I can sleep tonight grin thanks all Don

Not trying to be mean, but could you add some punctuation in there? Im confused. Do you have all those mods, or are you asking if you should get gears? and is 7.10 ur 1/8 or what? a 17.20 is about right though.

You have way to much gear 5.46!@#$ You should be running 4.10 or 4.56 gears with 28 to 30 inch tires. The set up you have should have a hell of a 60ft,then goto crap from there. With the gears and tires you are running, you would have to start in 3 gear and run past 1/8 mile going into O/D.

Hi yes i have all these mods and I goofed the gear is 4.56 not 5.46. I have both kinds of tuner sct and the diablo i was not clear huh so 17.20 is in the right area ?my 60ft=2.477 1/8 = 11.066 1000 14.35 1/4 17.17 80.0 mph
this was its first run some of the guys said it would wake up after several more runs the electronics ..
thanks for the information

Hey man it says your truck is an 06, from what I have read on these forums these trucks don't really wake up until you get some milage on them. How many miles do you have on your truck. ?
