Changing PCM codes X-cal2??? NEED HELP FAST

Ok, I am looking at buying a used x-cal2. My question is if it is set up for a different pcm code (four letter/number code), can it be changed? Would the Pro Racer Software be needed to change the code? I need to know asap, so I can buy this guys tuner. Oh ya, its the 9400.

Thanks

If im not mistaken it can only be changed thru an authorized excalibur dealer. It really isnt worth buying a used one as the cusom tunes VERY RARELY match up anyway.

Thanks

They need to be reprogrammed by an authorized dealer. There is a lot more to it than you may think. If you can get it for the right price, then I would say that its not a bad idea. BUT, you will need to spend a few more dollars to have it made compatible with your truck..If you have to pay more than $150-$175 for it then I would not do it...
