Have to save to purchase a used Edge Evolution over a new one? I am definitely getting one and am considering one that is currently in the classified section here. I have been emailing the owner over the last couple of days and am close to pulling the trigger, but have one hesitation. I know if I purchase it used I am losing any warranty or tech support that a new one would come with.

The price for the used one is $275, but for about $60 more I can get a new one and get the warranty and tech support that comes with it. I guess it's the piece of mind knowing that if you get something bad in the mail you can return it versus losing a nice chunk of change.

 

If the guy seems trust worthy you could give it a shot. I personally would save up that extra 60$ for the new. I dont know why, ive just never trusted anything used LOL

Yeah, but I would probably slip up and forget who I was supposed to be.

 

Yeah I really only have one shot to get an Edge. If I spend $275 for a used one and get taken then I probably won't have another shot at getting one in the near future.
