Ok so I got my Edge yesterday but I waited till my day off to try and program my truck. First the thing wouldnt start so I checked my fuses and one of them was blown, changed that. Now it started! So got that message with my HEX I try to program to Lv1 when the bar was filling up all the way I get this message that says Update Required... After that my truck wouldn't start, it was very very frustrating. I almost wanted to smash the evo but I cooled down, I went back out side and tried to crank it again. My truck turned on YES!!! but now im afraid to use the edge. How do I update it?

yeah sorry. Well I pretty much figured out how to update. But I keep getting this message
"You vehicle contains programming that is new to our Evolution. In order to program your vehicle we need to verify that the files read from your vehicle are correct. Would you like to send us these fires now?"
I clicked yes and it begins this transfer... After that and the update I was sure it was going to work but I keep getting the same message Missing File Update Required.

Did anyone ever get that?... I just have the worst of luck or none at all.

 

Just call edge. Quit guessing about what to do. You're gonna screw your truck up.

So I've talked to Edge and apperently my truck has some kind of crazy new hex. I've sent them the files and their working on it hopefully they'll be done by wednesday.

 

Good news. I'm and I bet you're glad you called before you created a no start condition.
