road trip

Just purchased custom tune stage 1 tuner. I'm going to TP to do a dyno run on Wednesday the 14th, and I'll be there around 9 AM. I just ordered the AF1 3.5, siso exhaust and tuner and have it tuned for towing a 7000lb camper. I'm a little worried about AF1 3.5 because of noise issues driving down the road and debating on the S&B kit. My exhaust hopefully will be here on Monday so it can be installed. TP was saying I don't neccessay need exhaust on tune the tuner in. But I do hope to get it done by Wednesday.

Your concern on noise issues while driving down the road are unwarranted.
Far too many people have the same belief and I am continuously wondering why...Of course you are going to hear the intake when under heavy throttle such as going up a steep grade, or when you mat the throttle and drop a gear, but to think you are going to hear it all the time is not a concern..

You should get your exhaust before monday, when I ordered mine thru TP, the day after the order went in, UPS dropped it off at my front door. It was shipped from a warehouse in New Stanton PA, I don't how close you are to it but I'm in Cleveland and I had mine in less than 24 hours.

Marc carpenter--Are you going to the truck fest on canton in july. I'm heading up there for the weekend, and taking my camper. I still have to find a campground in that area, Do you have any ideas where to camp.

I think New Stanton is where the UPS terminal is at, the exhaust is probably coming from Cowansville like you said. Once you get your tracking info, you possibly could go to the UPS terminal and pick it up Friday night, otherwise you will have to wait till monday.

You can call if you like, but Anita or Crystal will send you an e-mail with your # as soon as it gets processed. Once you get your #, just check on it once in a while, and when it gets to the UPS terminal, go get it.

What route are you taking to get to Troyers shop? If you take 77 south, take some singles and quarters with you, there are two tolls of $1.50 each on the way down and back. Make sure you post your dyno results when get back.

I jumped on mapquest. I'm reading nothing about 77 south. Hopefully I got the address right covington VA. I have to call TP tomorrow anyway to get tracking number for my exhaust, meantime I'll get the address. But girlfriend and I are going to North Carolina, I read to drive on 77. I got the ezpass hopefully it works on 77, if not I'll carry change. thanks for the advice. I'll be posting my results next week.

The toll booths are in W.V. on I-77, don't know if ezpass works or not. I-64 will take you right to Covington it's only about 25 miles into VA coming from W.V. Mikes shop is off of the second covington exit, where the Best Western sign is, it is only about a half mile down the road from the Best western.
