i want the edge
i really want the edge for my truck... 99 f-150 xlt 4x4 with the 4.6 in it.what kind of results will the edge evolution get me.i have heard about a lot of harsh shifting with it.i also would like to see a little better gas mileage if possibile.is it truly plug and go?what about running any wires? any help would be appreciated
anystories of people with trucks similar to mine with the edge chime in dont be scared. thanks

anystories of people with trucks similar to mine with the edge chime in dont be scared. thanks30min to install w/ reading directions.You only have to run one wire from OBD to Edge.After you figure out how it works it is very quick to change settings.As far as gas mileage i don't keep track and if your truck responds like mine you won't keep track either.I am very happy w/ mine.

WHat is a "Harsh" Shift...
Its funny you bring this up...today of all days....
In another Life, I worked for good friend of mine at Jersey Cylinder Head, doing welding, porting intakes... head jobs... etc...
I haven't seen him in almost 4 years... I stopped by today... totally random... (well... actually I was just out drivin around customizing edge tune!!)
So I took him for a ride in my truck.... I was only about 50% into the throttle... and she shifts from 1st to 2nd.... And he says.. "You already put a shift kit in it?" No Lie.
You can make it shift as hard or soft as you like....
