Evolution - WOW!
I've read tons of facts / opinions on tuners before I decided to go with the Edge. I think the biggest attraction for me was the amount of information that you have access to, and can display on the screen, (I'm a geek).
What I wasn't ready for was Level 3 with 93 octane! Why can't Ford write software like that?
Even on L1 & L2, the transmission wakes up. Instead of having the transmission of some big soft shifting luxury car, it nails gears quicker and harder in downshifts and upshifts.
0-60 improved from 8.75, to 8.10 in Level 3. Don't believe these folks that tell you that their screws are running in the upper 6's or low 7's with normal aspiration, (unless they started at the top of a bridge).
Hat's off to Edge! I'm looking forward to software updates for my '07 screw 5.4 (Edge told me they are working on an update).

Keep in mind that with my bed cover, sales stuff in the back, myself and a tank of gas, my truck weighs over two thousand pounds more than yours.
I had a '97 single cab SWB with 4.6 with hypertech chip, and it was quite a bit faster than my '07 screw.
I haven't run a 1/4 mile yet; need to get out of town to find a place to do it.

Don't do the 0-60 run on the first tank of lvl3. It takes awhile for the adaptive strategy to learn WTF is going on. I think you have to run atleast 3-5 tanks to get an accurate reading. I'm not positive but when I change levels it takes awhile for the truck to get into "rythem"(I went to public school so I;m not sure if I spelled Rythem right. Just looks funny about now.... Mabey I should lay off the Icehouse and Jager.

Ok. I got out of the house last night and decided to work on 0-60's, (told my wife I'd do the grocery shopping).
After topping the tank off again (that was my first tank of 93), and turning off the A/C, I was able to run consistently in the low 7.8's.
My truck is still relatively new; only 6 weeks out of Dearborn. It may even get better as it's fully broken in.
I did get in (2) 1/4 mile runs. Best was 16.1 @ 88 mph. How does that compare with others?
