Hi all,

I'm sure this question has been asked more than once. I'm looking into ways to increase my gas mileage a tad bit.

I've heard that if I add a PCM, Air intake and dual exhaust I should be able to pull out a few more MPGs.

Is this really possible or am I sucking in some smoke?

Currently I'm getting 14.5 mpg with my '07 Scab 4x4.

I was looking at the Jet PCM and the K&N Cold Air Intake. Not sure about the exhaust system though.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts on this.

Your getting good gas mileage already so dont expect to get a couple of miles more out of a gallon. Some people are claiming in upwords of 20 mpg. If gas mileage is really that much of an issue, Troyer has a gas savings tune. But also figure out the cost of the tuner,cai, and exhaust and how long these mods will take to pay for them selves.

 

You can do what I did. I bought a 97 neon to drive back in forth to work. 30-34 mpg

 

the above mods will help a little bit but buying a truck then complaining about the fuel economy?i don't get it
