Yes, none of that changes. He did build in things that I wanted, such as rev limiter, Max speed, gears. The only change I made was for tire size. he hit my desired shift firmness perfectly. The engine is sucking a lot more air, revving quicker, running much smoother. Also, on level 3, it goes thru the gears at much lower speeds, so there may be some fuel savings there. I think he even adds some things you can show on the gauges, haven't checked.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to say something. I got my tunes from Bill on Monday. I got a 93 performance and had my towing tune modified. The truck is a bat out of hell now. I still haven't had a chance to stomp it from a dead stop due to all the traffic, but I can't wait. Tuned it for my intake and exhaust too. Shifts better now too.

I'm thinking about getting this done for my Evo, I assume he can do this for all the evolutions? I have one of the first models that came out when it was first released.

 

Yes, the custom options are still available. Actually, our firmware update (for the late Evo2, V4 and up) has expanded PIDs to include gear and converter status as well as options to change ALL upshifts, downshifts and converter lock points independently. Still more to add, too.

My edge now has a custom tune thanks to Bill (ASEMechanic). What a difference!! My truck now has more power throughout the gears with inproved shifting and better responce. Bill also make some custom things per my request. Totally worth getting a custom tune being a night a day difference. Oh and again I praise the customer service. Oustanding. Over and beyond the call of duty. He will actually call you back and then take his time to answer all your questions!!! If you have the edge and considering custom tunes, do it and you won't have to wait 10 weeks either. You won't be sorry. Greg..

Same here. I was out to town when Bill emailed me my tunes and I didn't get to load them until sat morning Bill took the time out of his day on a sat and walked me through the process. His customer service is second to none. The custom tunes are great also. A++++++ for Bill.

 

Well I just ordered my custom 93 perf. for the strip , and Bill is a great guy, we talked for almost 20mins, his service is great . Can't wait 'till next Thurs. to go beat on it at the track.
