whats your 0-60 with edge?

well I have been out playing with my edge today doing alot of 0-60 runs to see what my truck likes. mainly I was playing with the timing. my best 0-60 run was 9.59. that was with + .5 and my second best was 9.62 with +1 timing. I am running 87 oct. so I desided to go back to +.5 just to play it safe. so what is everyone getting for 0-60 times with the edge. I may go out an play with it some more tomorrow. and mess with the shift points and wot fuel some more. sense I was mostely messing with the timing and running the shift firmness up at 25. I think tomorrow I will bring the shift points up some and the wot fuel. but I may bring the shift firmness down a little. every time it shifted at wot I heard a squeal. at first I thought I was hearing the tires chirping but it sounded to high pitch more like a belt slipping. what do you think that was? maybe just the engine belts slipping. maybe the tranny. I am not sure so I am going to bring it down to +20 shift firmness.

The squeal you here is the belt slipping. I think it comes from firming up the shifts, or something like that.

Getting a Gator Back serpentine belt fixes the problem

I have been thinking about getting one of those. during the winter if the temp drops below 0F it squeels like a pig when I start the truck. it has only happened like 3 or 4 times sense I bought the truck. I think one of those Gator backs may just be called for.

30 bucks at Autozone. While you're there, rent the serpentine removal kit for 20, go outside, change it (first time took me 30 mins, now less than 5), return the kit and get your money back

Make sure you take a picture/make note of how the belt setup is. Basically, if the pulley is "smooth," the back of the belt goes on it. If grooved, but the grooves there.

wow 7.55 in a 4.6 4X4. that is pretty good. I know my truck is heavier but I would not think there would be that big a difference. Are you supercharged or turbo charged or something? your list of mods looks good but not enough to kick my but that bad unless you have a turbo or supercarger. I know running 93 octane will bring my time down but would it drop 2 seconds off. what is everyone else on here getting.

And thanks for the tips on the belt elvato that will come in real handy sense there is a autozone like 6 blocks from my house.

No mine has 146,XXX of straight hell, no big power adders, or my custom 93 tune yet, but I was on lvl 3 "customized". It ran a 7.88 in 2wd spinning a little and 7.55 in 4wd. My truck hits the scales at 5800+ lbs, so not too big of a weight diff., but I was running stock 245's at the time, so with my 265's it is a little slower.

wow 7.55 is impressive with the 4.6 motor.
I only tried this once. 87 octane, canned level 2.
7.62 spun a little off the line. is that a good time for the 5.4?
I am awaiting my custom tunes from bill to try again.

I think 7.62 is a pretty good time compared to what I have been getting. you got a supercrew I have fx4 supercab. I am not sure the weight differance but my truck weighs 6100 on the scales. I was out tweeking my custom adjustments today and got my 0-60 down to 8.6. which I was pretty happy with. I can not believe I am still being beat by a supercrew and 4.6. what custom settings are you running? I am still running 87 oct.

Did you adjust the tire size, because that is quite a good 0-60 for 325's and a screw?
