v6 tuners

what kind of tuners are available for a 98 v6 manual trans? i looked around but all i saw was v8 tunners and deisel tunners

Best v6 tuner and the only one i know about is the Xcal 2 from Troyer. And you can get custom tunes great Tuner.

The XCal2&3 can be used across the board on all Fords, 96 and up it’s the way to go

can i get them tuned by a local shop?? since virginia is a long way from texas.

Yes but I'd just get a mail order tune from VMP Tuning or Troyer. Troyer will take you a really long time to get your tunes though.

One mail order tune is only $50 per tune and it should only take up to 3 weeks. Some people have gotten them a lot sooner though. It depends on what he's got on his plate at the time.

kool. and are you supposed to tell them what you want, or do they just run a tune custom to you truck what you have on it??

Tell him what kind of tune you want. Justin will also write gas mileage tunes geared towards performance.
