SLR motorsports "chip" does allow more fuel to be dumped into your engine for more power. It does this by reducing the resistance on your airflow sensor. So if you want a snappier truck this will do. But it will come with a price of check engine light, fowled 02 sensors and PCM issues. I know this cause I tried it just a few days ago on my 04 SCrew 5.4L, luckly I didn't run it long enough to hurt anything. Oh and by the way SLR is a pain to get your money back..... Keep all your info if you try to get your money back

 

slr motorsports is a scam. i've been trying to return this piece of junk for more than two months now, and they simply will not reply. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! i've used all contacts and they still wont give me an RO to return my UN-USED "performance" chip. 60 day "no questions asked" guarantee is a complete lie! BEWARE-SCAM SCAM SCAM!

 

I was finally able to get an ro and return the unused product, but they never returnrd my money. Hey its only 69 bucks, but on judgement day, someone will have to answer for my $69.
