Edge Evo = MPG Increase
Well I took my truck and Edge Evo on its first long distance trip and hot dang was I amazed! On my trip of 236 Miles each way here's what I got:
20.8 MPG on the way there, which included some rush hour traffic and approx 30 min idling in a parking lot with the AC running. I ran somewhere between 65 and 74 all the way up there, in the past (pre-edge) I had only gotten around 18.1 MPG.
On the return trip I got 19.2 , but ran between 75 and 86 all the way home (I was late). Overall, I'm tickled pink with the results!
And before anyone asks, this mpg was computed from miles driven divided by the number of gallons consumed. Not based on the Edge's AMPG display.
I'll probably be making that trip once a week here soon, you'd better believe that edge is going to pay for itself QUICK! Can't wait to get a custom tune on her and see what she's really got!

When I installed the Edge about 2 years ago, it really did not affect my mileage. I was getting great mileage and continued to do so, just with a lot more get-up-and-go. Only 2 things have really changed my mileage and both for the worse, 10% ethanol and the larger wheels and tires.

Edge & MPGs
I also took my first long trip with my Edge last week. I went from near Pittsburgh to Ocean City, Maryland, several days of stop & go traffic & halfway back on one tank of gas! My total mileage on one tank was 530 miles with an eighth left in the tank...
I did the math and I am uneasy in reporting that I got 22.64 mpg. (I know it sounds unreal!) Now remember that I was coming from the mountains and mostly was traveling with the wind at my back. I know this isn't realistic for every day, but wow!
Normally, my mileage for everyday driving ranges between 15.4 - 16.5 mpg's
I run level 3 with only a few customizations.
By the way the Edge's average mpgs were way low! Because of this I am now only using the IMPG not the AMPG.

Yep. That is about what I have. 20s for sure, and either 33s or near it. 305/50/20. I have lost a little 2 3/4 mpg to tire size and ethanol. The wheels and tires are worth it, but not the ethanol.

I hear ya, the tires changed the look of my truck big time, but I didnt count on such a change in performance and mileage. The AF1 has helped, but I just need to bite the bullet and order a tuner. Im such a cheap bastard

I'm not cheap, I'm conservative! Ok, so I'm cheap, but at least I have a tuner! I could not go without a tuner on my truck.
