Hello 01HD150 - welcome to the forum! Your question, though, has been beaten to death! Look about two threads down from this one and you''ll see one called: "Which One's the Best...". Reading through it, you'll understand we all feel the question's been asked and answered to the point where we're sick of it.

You'll do better to just scroll through some of the more recent threads, say those started in the last month, to get a good idea about what we all think. Then, pick up the phone and talk to the tuners that interest you! Then, YOU decide who you want to go with!

In my personal opinion I currently own an Edge Evolution and love it. It does everything that I ask of it. The problem now is I want more. So I will be upgrading to a Gryphon from Bill at PHP. I think having custom tunes will be awsome. When I get them I will post my opinion.

Well I just got my Gryphon from power hungry. It is the same as the edge but better. You get custom tunes, which meets your needs ,and driving habits, and all the nice gauges ,AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. This to me is worth every penny. They will bend over backwards to help you and guide you in the right direction.. I hope this helps.

I always recommend an Xcal2 or Xcal3 which is made by SCT and accepts custom tunes. I'd use VMPTuning.com to buy the programmer which will include three custom tunes of your choice. The great thing about the SCT's programmers is that you will be able to load new tunes at will, get a dyno tune if you need it, there are tons of dealers that use SCT products, and even use it to read codes. Not to mention, you can switch it to another vehicle if you get a new vehicle as long as it's got the ODBII port which is every Ford from the mid 1990s to the present. Justin at VMP Tuning has a great turn around time, great tunes, great customer service, and great prices. A Xcal2 or Xcal3 with run you $395 or $400 with three custom tunes from VMP. I had an Edge Evolution and had a lot of problems with it. I ended up switching to the custom tuned Xcal2 and I won't ever use anything else ..
