I have a hypertech power programmer. its pretty good. noticable differnece but i have nothing to compare it to. it helps with gas on the highway but driving around town can really guzzle gas. i guess i jus got a heavy foot. good product thoug!

Well, the 5.4s do not use a chip, they use a programmer. Regardless, I'd look into a Xcal2 or Xcl3 from VMPTuning.com .. I ran Justin's tunes on my 2006 F150 5.4L, as do a lot of guys around here, with great results.

OkeyDoky, you've got two votes for an XCal from VMP and one for a Gryphon (which gives you gauges as a bonus, looking "cool" up there on your dash and super customer service from Bill and Corey at PHP)! Guess what? I'm casting a "tie" vote for the Gryphon!

(But, to be honest, you won't go wrong with either of these recommendations. The Gryphon and PHP are super from my own experience and from others. And, I've only seen positive posts about XCal and VMP too! Win-win)!
