VMP tuning. i got annoyed w/ my edge on my dash. also my dad has been waiting about 2 months for his tunes from PHP. not saying their bad but thats rediculous IMO. my VMP took 3 days to ship. had it in 7 days. and thats with the tunes already loaded on it.

but what ever you decide on go custom tuning. VMP is about 400 bucks last time i checked. PHP is right below 500. but you get the screen. and no clue what troyer charges

I think these posts of "What's the best tuner" are getting old and brings out the same BS each time. If you don't do your own research you won't find out what is most important to you. There has been no "real" data on what the difference is between the tunes from the different tuners.

There are way too many opinions for this subject including my own.

You got that right, Kevin! But remember, the OP asked for them! (We just filled the "demand"). Are you, "Shooting the messenger?"

And to Thumper - yep, she's a sneeky one! I took my eyes off my PC for just a second and, look what happened! (I'd never do anything like that, would I)?

You would know it if I was shooting the messenger. Opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one and they all stink!

The gryphon has the best all around package IMO, because it has a screen to monitor other engine parameters, as well as various levels of performance. You have to realize that a 6 week wait for tunes speaks for itself..... You know what they say, "good things come to those that wait." It's one man (Bill) and his better half that are doing all the work for 100's if not thousands of units. Look at it this way, you get the gryphon with the stock programs and have fun with the power they give, than in 6-8 weeks when the newness is wearing off your custom tunes arrive and boom! It's a whole new toy again.....

I remember when this was said about another tuner on this site. Now that same tuner gets bashed for having a long wait time!

Php is the one I am using. I cannot speak for the custom tunes yet. I do not have them back.
