The Glock 19 can accept the Glock 17 mags which are 17+1 and if you really wanted to go all out, I could just pick up a 33+1 mag What now?

I can overstock the factory mags to accept 18+1 but it's bad for springs, of course. I can also purchase the 33 mags.

Glocks are fine weapons. I used to shoot them in competitions. They have their application. Every firearm has an application. It just depends on what you're using the gun for. Glocks, like all automatics, have had misfire issues and other malfunctions. Most automatics fail due to user error and the Glock is no exception.

Man EVERYONE is ragging on Glock tonight.

When I'm off work, my personal sidearm of choice is a Colt .357 w/ a 6 inch barrel. Not quite "Dirty Harry". But it's reliable and does not lack in stopping power.

By the way, who are all these people that you two are shooting with over 30 rounds?

Oh yea that is for sure! I try to make sure I am not limp-wristing it and also that I keep the pistol well cleaned and properly lubricated. I have completely disassembled the pistol to install the mods, so that helps a lot when cleaning it too. One of the reasons I went with the Glock was the proven durability and also the vast aftermarket. I am not sure what my first one will be when I turn 21, but I think I have a couple in my mind right now. Either the Kimber ultra carry II or the S&W air-lite in .357mag or .38 I still have a little over a year to decide. It will also depend on how much money I have at the time. I love the Kimbers, but for that price, I could buy two other pistols. Then again, that 1911 is so so sexy looking

Oh and Thump and I are shooting the paper terrorists with knives! We just want to make sure they are good and dead

Totally kidding if that wasn't implied

I've got a glock 27 with the crimson trace grips. I love it. In my opinion most confrontations will be 25ft and less so the bigger is not always better. I like to control my shots. Narrow the focus center the shot is what I always say
